Who Am I?

Howdy! I’m Jon Crow, and I’m running for the Arizona State Senate.

I was raised right here in the Valley, splitting my childhood between my parents’ home near Banner Thunderbird and my grandparents’ place down by Moon Valley. My journey hasn’t been polished or perfect. Like many of us, I faced challenges, took a few wrong turns, and had to find my way forward through grit and growth. But everything I’ve done has taught me something: how to work hard, lead with compassion, and get back up when life knocks you down.

I attended local schools like Rancho Solano, Copperwood, and Ironwood High, eventually transferring to Cactus High to take part in JROTC. That’s where I learned some of my earliest leadership lessons-- how to take responsibility not just for yourself, but for others. One of my proudest moments came during FTX, when I earned the trust of cadets in my flight, who chose to come to me in confidence to handle an important matter through respect and fair judgement. That’s the kind of leadership I believe Arizona needs.

After school, I entered the working world the way many do-- serving food and making ends meet. I worked at Haus Murphy’s and considered my future. I tried starting a tech café business with my wife, Mountain Cyber Sauna, LLC, but just as we were ready to open, tragedy struck a similar business in Florida, and our lease was pulled. When we finally got things moving again, COVID-19 hit. Twice, our dream was stopped before it started.

But I didn’t give up.

After shelving the business, I turned toward an old passion: law. I got a job as an assistant manager at a restaurant, studied at night, and worked my way into a position as a legal assistant at a respected immigration firm. From there, I entered my current job, and now am contracted at one of America’s top ten law firms-- where I now assist some of the brightest legal minds in the country with review and analysis.

I love my work-- not because of the title, but because of what it’s helped me build: a stable life for my family, and a deep belief in public service.

I’ve been with my high school sweetheart for 14 years, and we’ve been married for eight. We’re raising two amazing kids right here in Arizona. My daughter already leads pretend adventures in our living room; my baby son naps on my lap while I type this message to you.

Everything I’m doing in this campaign is for them-- and for your families too. Because I know what it’s like to work hard, face obstacles, and keep going. I know what it means to hope for better.
